The Urs of Hazrat Khawaja Gharib Nawaz is an important event which attracts more than one million pilgrims to the sacred complex of Dargah Ajmer Sharif every year. The Dastarbandi ceremony of Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and the entire delegation, who arrived to present the chadar, was performed by Syed Salman Chishti and Syed Afshan Chishti Gaddi Nasheen Khuddam e Khwaja Garib Nawaz inside the holy sanctum. The Dastarbandi ceremony also included spiritual prayers for peace, prosperity, unity and harmony in the country and the world.
