Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit America from 21 to 23 September.

The Ministry of External Affairs has given this information. During this, the Prime Minister will attend the Fourth Quad Leaders Summit in Wilmington, Delaware, USA on 21 September.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, on September 22, the Prime Minister will address the Indian community in New York, while on September 23, he will address the ‘Summit of the Future’ at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

During this visit, Prime Minister Modi will also interact with the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of leading American companies in New York to strengthen partnerships in the field of AI, biotechnology and semiconductors etc. The Ministry of External Affairs has also released a detailed description of the three-day program of the Prime Minister.

Announcing the Prime Minister’s visit, the Ministry of External Affairs said that Modi will attend the ‘Quad’ leaders summit in Wilmington, Delaware on September 21, hosted by US President Joe Biden.

This year it was India’s turn to host the Quad summit. The ministry said, “Following the US request to host the Quad summit this year, India has agreed to host the next Quad summit in 2025.”

The Ministry of External Affairs said, “At the Quad Summit, the leaders (of the four member countries of the group) will review the progress achieved by the Quad in the last one year and set an agenda for assisting countries in the Indo-Pacific region in achieving their development goals and aspirations.”

The ministry said that Prime Minister Modi will address the ‘Summit of the Future’ at the United Nations General Assembly in New York on September 23. In New York, the Prime Minister will address the Indian community on September 22.

“The Prime Minister will also interact with CEOs of leading US companies to promote extensive cooperation between the two countries in cutting-edge areas of AI (artificial intelligence), quantum computing, semiconductors and biotechnology,” the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.

Modi will also interact with experts and other active stakeholders in the India-US bilateral landscape, the statement said.
