Moscow. Tension has arisen in western countries after the attack of Russia’s new intermediate missile. Due to this, there will be an emergency meeting between Ukraine and NATO on Tuesday (26 November). This meeting is being held on Zelensky’s appeal. The meeting is taking place at a time when for the first time in the 33-month-long war, Russia has attacked the Ukrainian city of Dnipro with a hypersonic ballistic missile. At the same time, Ukraine has fired dangerous weapons received from Western countries on Russia.
Meanwhile, Russian President Putin has threatened to do more testing of Oreshnik missiles. He said this in a meeting with Russian military chiefs. Russia had fired an intermediate missile on Ukraine’s Dnipro city on Thursday itself. Russian President Vladimir Putin has called it a test of missis. The name of this missile is Oreshnik.
In fact, on November 18, Biden gave approval to Ukraine to attack Russia with American weapons. After this the conflict between the two sides has increased.
Zelensky asked for help to stop Russian attack
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday that amid Russian missile threats, he is trying to get updated air-defense systems from friendly countries. Zelensky said Thursday’s attack on the city of Dnipro with Russia’s new ballistic missile shows that Russia wants to escalate the war. According to media reports, Zelensky wants to acquire the US Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) or upgrade its Patriot anti-ballistic missile defense system.
China appealed to both sides to make peace
China has appealed to all parties involved in the war between Russia and Ukraine to remain calm, exercise restraint and reduce tensions through dialogue. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said both sides should negotiate for ceasefire. The spokesperson said that China has a clear policy on the Ukraine issue. He is in favor of settling the matter politically and preventing the situation from worsening.
Putin addressed the nation after the attack
