Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin has once again threatened Western countries with the use of nuclear weapons. Putin had called an urgent meeting of the Security Council in the capital Moscow. In this he said that the government is going to change the terms and conditions related to the use of nuclear weapons. Putin said that many new things will be added to the country’s nuclear rules. This also includes the use of nuclear weapons against missile or drone attacks against Russia. If there is a large-scale missile or drone attack on Russian territory, which could seriously threaten the country’s sovereignty, Russia can still use nuclear weapons.
The Russian President also said that if a non-nuclear-weapon country attacks Russia with the support of a nuclear-weapon country, it will be considered an attack by both countries. He said that Russia’s nuclear weapons are the biggest guarantee of the security of the country and its citizens.
This statement of Putin has come when Ukraine is seeking permission from Western countries to use long-range attack missiles in Russia. Putin said that it was necessary to change the conditions for the use of nuclear weapons, because the world is changing rapidly. Britain has given Storm Shadow and America Army Tactical Missile System missiles to Ukraine. These are long-range lethal missiles, which can hit targets accurately up to about 300 km. Ukraine can use these missiles not in Russia, but only within its border. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants these sanctions lifted so he can use long-range weapons inside Russia.
