Senior BJP leader Krishna Lal Panwar has resigned from Rajya Sabha after winning the Haryana Israna Assembly elections.
Panwar had submitted his resignation to Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, which has been accepted. Panwar, a six-time MLA, was fielded by BJP this time from the reserved seat of Israna.
The swearing in ceremony is going to be held in Haryana on 17th October. It is believed that Krishna Lal Panwar will be given some important ministry.
He was also a minister in the state in the government of Manohar Lal Khattar. He was sent to Rajya Sabha in 2022. Now lobbying has also started for the seat vacant after his resignation in Rajya Sabha.
At present there are five Rajya Sabha MPs from Haryana in the Rajya Sabha. BJP has three in this. Their names are Subhash Barala, Ram Chandra Jangra and Kiran Chaudhary.
Apart from this, an independent MP also has the support of BJP. Let us tell you that Krishna Lal Panwar has defeated Balbir Singh Balmiki of Congress.
There is a margin of defeat between the two of 13895 votes. Krishna Lal Panwar also has the responsibility of BJP Vice President of Haryana State.
Apart from this, he said that if he is given any responsibility in the cabinet, he is ready to fulfill it.
Kuldeep Bishnoi also wants Rajya Sabha seat?
It is being said in the reports that after the defeat of Bhavya Bishnoi this time from his native Adampur seat, Kuldeep Bishnoi is also busy lobbying for the Rajya Sabha seat. Recently he along with his family met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and BJP leaders.
His visit to Delhi shows that he is also interested in Rajya Sabha.
He came to BJP from Congress only in 2022. For the first time, he had to face defeat by a small margin on the seat which his family had held since 1968. In such a situation, he wants a Rajya Sabha seat as compensation.
