Lok Sabha opposition leader Rahul Gandhi’s US visit seems to be surrounded by controversies.
He has also met anti-India US MP Ilhan Omar.
Ilhan Omar had visited PoK for some time. She had also criticized India’s control over Kashmir.

The meeting held at the Rayburn House Office Building was hosted by MP Bradley James Sherman and included US Congress members Jonathan Jackson, Ro Khanna, Raja Krishnamurthy, Barbara Lee, Thanedar, Jesus G. “Chuy” Garcia, Ilhan Omar, Hank Johnson and Jan Schakowsky. Rahul Gandhi also met US diplomat Donald Lu and MP Pramila Jayapal.

In one of his posts on X, Malviya wrote, “India’s opposition leader Rahul Gandhi met Ilhan Omar in the US, a Pakistan-sponsored anti-India voice. A radical Islamist and advocate of independent Kashmir. Even Pakistani leaders will be more cautious about being seen with such extremist elements. Congress is now openly working against India.”
At the same time, another BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari has also attacked. He wrote, ‘Rahul Gandhi’s meeting with Pakistan-backed anti-India Omar makes it clear that Rahul stands with the anti-India sections and boosts their morale.’
