Rahul Gandhi targets Center on Adani case – NNSP

Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said the Adani Group will deny the allegations leveled by the US court against industrialist Gautam Adani. Let us tell you that Rahul Gandhi also demanded arrest in connection with these allegations.

In fact, Adani Group Energy Limited (AGEL) today filed a complaint with the US Department of Justice and the US Securities and Exchange Board of India against group founder and chairman Gautam Adani, his nephew Sagar Adani and Adani Green Energy MD and CEO Vineet Jain. Denied the allegations of bribery made by the Commission.

Speaking to the media, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said that do you think Adani will accept the allegations? Obviously, he will deny the allegations. The point is that he should be arrested, as we have said. Today people are being arrested for minor charges.

He said that Adani is accused of thousands of crores of rupees in America. Along with this, Rahul Gandhi also accused the central government of saving Adani.

It is noteworthy that a statement has been issued by Adani Green Energy Limited. The statement said that media articles have said that some of our directors Gautam Adani, Sagar Adani and Vineet Ain have been accused in the indictment of violating the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Such statements are wrong.

The company also said that Gautam Adani, Sagar Adani and Vineet Jain have not been accused of any violation of the FCPA set out in the US Justice Department’s indictment or the US SEC’s civil complaint.
