People have got relief from the heat. The Meteorological Department says that the rainy season will continue not only in Delhi-UP but also in the mountains. According to IMD, there will be heavy rains again in Delhi, UP, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab today.
It has been raining intermittently in Delhi since the past day. According to the weather department, Delhi remained cloudy since morning on Thursday as well. It may rain in some areas. Due to the rain, the weather in Delhi has become pleasant. The temperature may also fall. The maximum temperature of Delhi is likely to be 33 degrees and the minimum temperature is likely to be 23 degrees. Light rain may be seen in Delhi for a day or two. This time there are chances of severe cold in Delhi.
The wrath of Yagi cyclone is being seen in UP, due to which heavy rain is falling in many areas. The Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms along with rain in 43 districts of UP. According to the department, heavy rains may occur in Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Unnao, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Amethi on Thursday. The mood of the weather is also changing in Bihar. There may be light rain in Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Saharsa, Madhepura, Purnia, Katihar, Buxar, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Arwal, Bhojpur in the next 24 hours.
The rain will continue in the plains and hilly areas as well. The weather department has already issued a yellow alert in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Tehri and Chamoli. There may be heavy rain in Uttarakhand on Thursday. In Mussoorie too, life has been affected due to the intermittent rain since Wednesday.
Meanwhile, rain continues in Rajasthan. Jaipur Meteorological Center has said that there is a possibility of rain in eastern Rajasthan today. The reason for this is the low pressure area formed over Madhya Pradesh. On Thursday, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder in many parts of Rajasthan. There is also a possibility of light rain in some parts of Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer and Kota.
