Ratan Tata dies at the age of 86 – NNSP

Ratan Tata: Veteran industrialist Ratan Tata breathed his last at the age of 86. He died in a hospital in Mumbai. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over Tata’s demise. He described Tata as a person with visionary thinking and while expressing his condolences, described him as an extraordinary human being. Ratan Tata was awarded the country’s second highest civilian honor – Padma Vibhushan in the year 2008 for his remarkable contribution in nation building. Ratan Tata, the most unique ‘Ratan’ of the country’s industrial world, is no more. He breathed his last in Mumbai at the age of 86 after age-related illness. On Monday, he was admitted to the hospital for health checkup. Later he himself denied the claims of being admitted to the ICU. However, on Wednesday he was once again admitted to the hospital. The team of doctors was constantly monitoring his health, but despite all efforts, he could not be saved. Ratan Tata was known for his simplicity and simple nature. Ratan Tata has made a huge contribution in taking the Tata Group to the heights it has reached today after the era of liberalisation. Tata was born on December 28, 1937. He was the son of Naval Tata, the adopted grandson of Tata Group founder Jamsetji Tata.

Chairman of Tata Sons issued a statement on behalf of the group
On Tata’s demise, N Chandrasekaran, chairman of this industrial house, issued a statement. He said, ‘We are bidding farewell to Ratan Naval Tata with deep sorrow. He was truly an extraordinary personality. Chandrasekaran said, ‘For the Tata Group, Ratan Tata was much more than a chairman. For me, he was a guru, guide and friend. He inspired through example. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, integrity and innovation, under his leadership the Tata Group expanded globally while always remaining true to its ethical standards.

Tata’s initiative left a deep impression, future generations will benefit
Chandrasekaran said Tata’s philanthropy and dedication to the development of society has touched the lives of millions of people. From education to healthcare, his initiatives have left a deep mark that will benefit generations to come. Every personal interaction with Tata exemplifies his genuine humility in strengthening various operations. Tata Sons Chairman Chandrasekaran said, ‘On behalf of the entire Tata family, I express my deepest condolences to his loved ones. His legacy will continue to inspire us as we strive to uphold the principles he so passionately championed.’
