The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Janjgir-Champa district. Chief guest Bilaspur MLA Amar Aggarwal took the salute of the parade by hoisting the flag in the district level program organized at High School Ground, Janjgir.
In the program, balloons symbolizing peace and enthusiasm were released into the sky along with cheerful fire. The chief guest inspected the parade.
The Chief Minister read out a message to the common citizens. Martyr family members were honored by presenting them shawls and quinces.
He honored the officers and employees of various departments doing excellent work by giving them citations.
During this, MLA Janjgir Beas Kashyap, former MP Smt. Kamla Devi Patle, former MLA Narayan Chandel, former MLA Ambesh Jangade, Municipality President Bhagwan Das Gadhewal, Municipality Vice President Ashutosh Goswami, District Panchayat Vice President Raghavendra Pratap Singh, former Municipality President Ramesh Paigwar. A large number of citizens including Collector Akash Chhikara and Superintendent of Police Vijay Aggarwal, councilors, other public representatives and officers and employees were present. The program was conducted by Satish Singh and Deepak Yadav.
Chief guest Bilaspur MLA Amar Aggarwal paid tribute to the martyrs on the occasion of Republic Day by paying tribute to the martyrs at the Kachhari Chowk in Janjgir-Champa district headquarters.
In the parade ceremony, in the senior category, District Police Force stood first, CCF 11th Battalion Bharat Rakshit stood second and District Mahila Police Force stood third.
Similarly, in the junior category, NCC 325 Janjgir got first position, NCC girl Gyandeep got second position and guide team Gattani Janjgir got third position.
Along with this, for excellent performance in cultural programs, PM Kendriya Vidyalaya Janjgir got first place, Kasturba Gandhi Residential School Hardi got second place and Gattani Girls Higher Secondary School Janjgir got third place.
At the function, attractive tableaux showcasing the glimpse of development were presented by various departments. The tableau displayed by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department got first place.
Similarly, Agriculture and Horticulture Department got second place and Health and Family Welfare Department got third place.
