Kyiv. Ukraine’s air force said Russia had launched multiple attacks with drones, cruise and ballistic missiles targeting Kiev and possibly other cities. The capital Kiev was rocked by several explosions early Monday, forcing residents to take refuge in bomb shelters.
Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said emergency services were called to the Holosiivsky and Solominsky districts of Kiev. He said one person was reported injured after being trapped under rubble in the Shevchenkivsky district. “Everything will be answered. The enemy will realize this,” Ukraine’s Presidential Office chief Andriy Yermak told the Post. According to the Air Force, Russia fired several cruise missiles and ballistic missiles targeting Kiev and also carried out some drone attacks.
