Russia launched missile attacks on Ukraine…51 people died – NNSP

Kyiv. Russia carried out several missile attacks on Ukraine. 51 people were killed and more than 200 were injured in the attack. This attack took place on a military training institute located in the central part of Ukraine. This is one of the deadliest attacks since Russia’s attack on Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he had received information about a Russian attack in Poltava. An educational institution and a nearby hospital were targeted in the attack. A building of a telecommunications institute was also partially destroyed in the attack.
The President said that Ukraine needs air defence systems and missiles to protect itself from air attacks. They should get them as soon as possible and not keep them in a warehouse. He said, I have received initial reports of a Russian attack in Poltava. Two ballistic missiles attacked the area. The head of the military administration of Poltava region, Philip Pronin, has announced the death toll. He said that rescue teams are engaged in clearing the rubble and searching for the buried people. He said that there may be 18 more people under the rubble. At least 10 residential buildings of the military educational institution have been damaged.
While Moscow has not commented on the attack, a famous Russian military blogger Vladimir Rozov reported that Russia attacked a military school in Poltava. The President also expressed gratitude to those who helped in the relief work after the attack. Zelensky has ordered a full and immediate investigation into the attack. He has said that all the necessary services are involved in the rescue work. He has demanded the supply of more air defense systems and long-range missiles from Western allies.
