A Russian plane has crashed near the Ukrainian border. At least 65 people have died in this accident.

According to Reuters report, Russia’s Defense Ministry has also confirmed this. Russia’s Ilyushin-76 plane has crashed in Belgorod, an area bordering Ukraine.

According to reports, the plane was carrying Ukrainian army personnel who had been kidnapped as prisoners of war. The Russian Defense Ministry said, ‘The crashed plane was carrying 65 soldiers of the Ukrainian army, who were being taken to Belgorod for exchange. There were also 6 crew members and three escorts on board the plane.

Belgorod Governor Yasheslav Gladkov also confirmed the incident, but declined to elaborate.

The video of this plane crash is becoming increasingly viral on social media. Till now no official statement has come from Russia regarding this. Apart from this, the reason for the plane crash could not be known.

In the video, it is seen that the plane descends rapidly near Yablonovo village and then after a massive explosion, it catches fire. Within no time, strong flames erupt and the plane is completely destroyed.
