Sandip Ghosh giving misleading answers in polygraph test

Kolkata . It has been more than a month since the case of rape and murder of a female trainee doctor in West Bengal. Protests are taking place all over the country. New shocking aspects are constantly coming to light in this case. Now the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made a shocking claim. The investigating agency says that Dr. Sandeep Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College, gave misleading answers to every important question in the polygraph test. He also tried to mislead the investigating agency during the voice analysis.
Dr Ghosh, who was already arrested in the case of financial irregularities, has now also been accused of tampering with evidence. The incident of rape and murder of a female resident doctor in the hospital has shaken the country. A Sealdah court has sent Sandeep Ghosh to CBI custody till September 17. At the same time, CBI has also arrested Abhijit Mandal on charges of tampering with evidence. During the investigation, polygraph test and voice analysis of former principal Dr Sandeep Ghosh was done. Officials aware of the developments said that according to a report of the New Delhi-based Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), his statement has been found misleading on some important issues related to this case. He further said that the information obtained during the polygraph test may not be used as evidence during the trial. But, the agency can collect corroborating evidence, which can be used in the court.
The CBI alleged that Ghosh came to know about the case at 9:58 pm on August 9, but did not immediately lodge a police complaint. Ghosh later made a vague complaint through the medical superintendent-deputy principal, even though the victim was declared dead at 12:44 pm. He did not immediately try to lodge an FIR, but came up with a new theory of suicide, which is not possible considering the injuries visible on the victim’s body, the official added.
