BJP leader Manohar Tehsildar passed away in Bangalore. Party sources gave this information. The 80-year-old BJP leader lived with his four sons and two daughters. He breathed his last on Wednesday night, where he was undergoing treatment. His mortal remains will be taken to Haveri district for the last darshan. Let us tell you that Manhar Tehsildar had represented Hangal of Haveri. Family sources said that later his body will be taken to his native village and his last rites will be performed there.
The BJP leader tehsildar represented Hangal constituency four times. He was also a minister during the first Congress government (2013–18) led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Due to not getting party ticket in 2023, he left Congress and joined JDS. He had joined BJP earlier this year. He also served as the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly during SM Krishna’s tenure as Chief Minister.
