Every year crores of people are losing their lives due to these diseases all over the world. Be it any corner of the world, there is chaos everywhere due to diseases. According to a medical report, a recent study has revealed that the biggest reason for increasing diseases is climate change. The study has revealed that out of 375 infectious diseases affecting humans worldwide, 58 percent of the disease outbreaks have increased due to climate change. Emission of greenhouse gases is increasing climate-related threats, due to which humans are dying. Climate change is largely responsible for the spread of bacteria and viruses. Researchers say that if strict steps are not taken regarding climate change in the future, the situation can become more serious.
Researchers examined more than 77,000 studies to find climate hazards that affect diseases such as influenza, malaria and SARS. These studies found that heat, drought, forest fires, excessive rainfall, floods, storms, sea level rise, ocean climate change and landform changes have emerged as major causes of diseases. Due to these reasons, diseases such as malaria, influenza, SARS, asthma, skin allergies are becoming serious health problems. The study’s findings showed that 277 diseases have increased due to climate change. Overall, the researchers found that 58 percent of all infectious diseases have severely affected humans worldwide.
