In Missouri, America, a female teacher has been accused of forcibly having sex with her students by paying them.
Apart from this, she would also call the children to her home and give them drugs while having sex.
The teacher was arrested recently. A Dixon School District teacher was arrested by authorities on Tuesday, Nov. 12, on 19 charges, including rape and sexual contact with a juvenile, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) said.
Court documents state that many serious allegations have been made against teacher Carissa Smith. Has been accused of having sex with children.
Additionally, two counts of second-degree sex trafficking of children under the age of 18 have been charged. Allegations of patronizing prostitution and hindering prosecution have also been made.
Female teacher Smith started working as a substitute teacher at Dixon Middle School in 2022 and 2023.
She was then hired as a paraprofessional for the high school for the 2023–24 school year and later hired as a long-term substitute until her resignation in August 2024.
During the investigation, the police came to know that the teacher had relations with many students. He also offered money to the children for sex and oral sex and most of these relationships were established by inviting the children to his home.
At the same time, a child told that he had sex with Smith in school itself. Not only this, Smith has also been accused of providing drugs to the students.
He was also accused of providing marijuana and alcohol to students, allowing smoking and drinking in his presence, and sending explicit photos of himself to a victim via Snapchat. Smith is currently being held in the Pulaski County Detention Center with a $250,000 cash or surety bond.
PCSD says he could face more charges after interviewing more victims.
