Shiveluch volcano in Russia erupts – NNSP

Moscow. An earthquake of 7.0 magnitude struck near the eastern coast of Russia on Sunday morning. Due to the earthquake, a volcano named Shiveluch present in the area erupted. The smoke rising after the eruption of the volcano was visible up to a height of 8 km from the beach. This volcano is about 450 km away from the coastal city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in Russia. The population of this city is 1 lakh 80 thousand. However, there is no news of any kind of damage or loss of life or property in the explosion.
