Snowfall continues in Kashmir, mercury drops by 10 degrees in MP-Rajasthan

New Delhi. Due to snowfall in the mountains of Kashmir, the effect of cold weather is being seen in many districts of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. The mercury has been recorded below 10 degrees in 10 cities of Madhya Pradesh, 8 of Rajasthan, 2 of Uttar Pradesh and 2 of Chhattisgarh.
The first snowfall of the season has been seen in Marwah, Kishtwar and Badwan of Kashmir. According to the Central Meteorological Department (IMD), there are chances of snowfall in Kangra, Kinnaur, Kullu, Lahaul Spiti and Chamba of Himachal in the next 24 hours.
Here, after 32 days on Sunday, Delhi’s AQI was recorded below 300. According to the Central Environment Control Board, AQI has been recorded at 285, but the air category in Delhi still remains poor. In South India, the impact of Fengal storm was seen in Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, due to which there was heavy rain on Monday also.
