Special vigilance on the border of Meghalaya and Mizoram – NNSP

New Delhi . In view of the possibility of influx of refugees from Bangladesh in the border states after the coup in Bangladesh, special provisions have been made. Special instructions have been given to the Border Security Force.
In Meghalaya, movement has been banned in a 4 km area from the Bangladesh border. About 80 km of the 443 km long international border belongs to Meghalaya. Border Security Force personnel are deployed to control movement up to 4 km. They are keeping an eye on the refugees. There is a complete ban on people coming from Bangladesh. No one is being allowed to come from Bangladesh.
The 273 km long Langtalai border from Mizoram’s capital Aizawl remains completely deserted. The state government has completely banned movement in the 3 km area of ​​the border from 6 pm to 6 am. This ban will continue for the next 2 months. Movement to and from the Bangladesh border has been completely banned. This area is connected to Chittagong and Bandarwan of Bangladesh. Infiltration takes place here through the hills. Border Security Force jawans are fully alert to stop infiltration. BSF jawans have been deployed in the 318 km area adjoining Bangladesh. Movement has been completely banned for 2 months.
