Governor Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan was informed about the work of the Commission by Chhattisgarh State Finance Commission Chairman Sergius Minz at Raj Bhavan today and presented the report of the Commission.
It is noteworthy that the Fourth State Finance Commission was constituted by the state government to review and strengthen the financial position of the state’s urban bodies and Panchayati Raj institutions for the period 2025-2030. The tenure of the commission was two and a half years. The Commission has submitted its recommendations after reviewing the financial situation. Suggestions received from representatives of local bodies and departments have also been included in the report.
On this occasion, Commission Secretary Satish Pandey, Joint Secretary J.S. Virdi, Ms. Payal Gupta and M.N. Rajurkar was present.
