BSE Sensex opened at 74022 with a gain of just 7 points. Whereas, NSE’s 50-stock sensitive index Nifty 50 started the day’s trading in the red from the level of 22458.
In early trade, NTPC, Bharti Airtel, HCL Tech are trading in the green, while Wipro, ICICI Bank, JSW Steel, TCS are trading in the red.

Because, GIFT Nifty was trading around 22,540 levels, which is about 60 points below the previous close of Nifty futures. Whereas, there was mixed trading in Asian markets. At the same time, American stock markets closed with a decline.
Condition of Asian market: Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 0.25%, while the Topix gained 0.19%. South Korea’s Kospi fell 0.34% and Kosdaq fell 1.11%. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index futures indicated a weak start.
Wall Street moves: US stock market indices closed mixed on Monday after Treasury yields rose on stronger-than-expected manufacturing data.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 240.52 points to 39,566.85, while the S&P 500 dropped 10.58 points, or 0.20%, to 5,243.77. The Nasdaq Composite added 17.37 points, or 0.11%, to 16,396.83.
Investors’ capital increased by Rs 10.58 lakh crore in three trading sessions.
A total surge of Rs 10.58 lakh crore has been recorded in investors’ capital in three bullish trading sessions as the domestic stock market reached a record high during the day’s trading on Monday.
BSE Sensex rose 363.20 points or 0.49 percent to reach a new peak of 74,014.55 points.
This was the third consecutive trading session of bullishness in the stock market. In this three-day bullish period, a total gain of 1,544.25 points or 2.13 percent has been recorded in the Sensex.
This also affected investors’ capital and the total market capitalization jumped by Rs 10,58,034.42 crore to Rs 3,93,15,471.18 crore.
