Stones pelted on police, 21 policemen injured – NNSP

Amravati. Stone pelting took place at Nagpuri Gate police station in Amravati, Maharashtra late on Friday night. 21 policemen were injured in this. Police handled the situation by releasing tear gas shells. In fact, on September 29 in Ghaziabad, Narasimhanand Maharaj had given a controversial statement against Prophet Mohammad. Angered by this, the mob pelted stones at the policemen late on Friday night. Amravati Police Commissioner Naveen Chandra Reddy said that at around 8.15 pm some people came to Nagpuri Gate Police Station to register a case against Narasimhanand. The station in-charge told them that an FIR had already been registered against Narasimhanand, after which they returned.
