Strict action against Bangladeshis in Assam, CM Himanta Sarma explains the reason

Once again action has been taken against Bangladeshi infiltrators in Assam. Himanta Biswa government has sent 17 people out of its borders. These infiltrators include 9 adults and eight children. This information was given by CM Himanta Biswa Sarma himself.

Sarma said that these people had tried to enter the Indian border and were sent back by the Assam Police. Along with this, Himant has also mentioned the names of all these in his post. According to CM, their names are Harul Lamin, Umai Khunsum, Mohammad Ismail, Sanjeeda Begum, Rufia Begum, Fatema Khatoon, Mazur Rehman, Habi Ullah and Swaika Begum.

Many infiltrators were caught earlier also

Earlier on September 5, the police had caught several Bangladeshis who were trying to infiltrate illegally from Karimganj district. CM Sarma had also given information about this by posting on X.
