Strict action will be taken against making reels on train and railway tracks, new guidelines issued

Those making reels on railway tracks and moving trains should be alert. If there is a security threat while making reels at these places, then an FIR will be filed. Railway Board has given instructions to all its zones in this regard. It said that if reel makers pose a threat to safe railway operations or cause inconvenience to passengers in coaches or railway premises, an FIR should be registered against them.

People have crossed all limits in making reels
This instruction of the Railway Board has come after some recent cases came to light, in which youths, especially youths, compromised railway security by making videos using their mobile phones while performing stunts on railway tracks and in running trains.

A senior board official said, ‘People have crossed all limits in making the reel. They not only risk their lives but also endanger the safety of hundreds of passengers by placing objects on railway tracks or driving vehicles or performing dangerous stunts in running trains.’

He said, ‘Many such videos have been circulated in which it is shown that people went near the train while taking selfies, due to which they died. Many people lost their lives on the spot after being hit by the train.
According to Railway Board officials, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) have been asked to adopt a zero tolerance policy towards those making reels in violation of the rules.
