Strong earthquake tremors have been felt in Delhi-NCR.

According to the information, the epicenter of the earthquake is said to be in the Xinjiang region located on the Kyrgyzstan and China border. Its intensity has been measured at 7.2 on the Richter scale.

The tremors were so strong that its impact was felt even in Delhi-NCR. The earth continued to tremble for a long time. Out of fear, people came out of their homes and came under the open sky.

According to the National Seismology Centre, the earthquake was felt at 11.39 pm.

Germany’s Geological Research Center says the quake struck China’s Xinjiang region at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles) below ground.

Till the time of writing the news, there has been no information about any loss of life or property due to the earthquake.

There are reports that apart from India and China, earthquake tremors have also been felt in some border areas of Kyrgyzstan, Nepal and Pakistan.
