Now such a time has come that the one who was nurtured by Pakistan has become a snake in its sleeve.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province of Pakistan has always been restless due to Taliban activities. Now there is news that Talibanis have started creating administrative system in KP province.

Reports suggest that the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) group is now directing local officials and contractors.

According to TOI report, KP Governor Ghulam Ali expressed his apprehensions regarding the security of the area in a television interview last Saturday.

Taliban’s arbitrariness in Waziristan
In view of the general elections to be held in Pakistan, political parties can organize rallies in KP province, for which the Governor has already issued a warning saying that the current situation here is not safe for holding rallies.

The governor drew comparisons to the restive Balochistan province in the south-west and said a similar uncertain situation prevails there, the report said.

Let us tell you that TTP has recently divided the water, electricity and oil departments in North Waziristan and issued instructions to the contractors associated with it.

Contractors were directed to engage with the new ministry and reach agreements on several projects within a five-day deadline. In case of refusal, TTP warned of forceful action.

Taliban is maintaining a secret department
The alleged aim of the new ministry is to raise funds for the group’s ‘jihad’ and to expand its administrative set-up in areas of its influence.

According to TOI report, insiders reveal that TTP has set up secret departments in every tribal district along the Afghan border as well as in KP’s southern districts of Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat and Bannu.

Apart from handling the resolution of disputes among local people, these secret units also reportedly blackmail businessmen and rich individuals.
