Tejashwi did not do anything, I came back to where I was, then Nitish’s attitude changed as soon as he became CM; It rained heavily on India too…

In Bihar, Nitish Kumar has once again become the Chief Minister with the support of BJP.

He took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 9th time. Amidst the changing political winds of Bihar, RJD leader and former Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav had targeted Nitish Kumar.

On Sunday evening, Tejashwi Yadav said that JDU will end in 2024. Responding to this statement of Tejashwi Yadav, Nitish Kumar said that Tejashwi was not doing anything.

JDU will end in 2024: Tejashwi
While speaking to ANI on Sunday, targeting Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi Yadav said that JDU will end by 2024.

It will cease to exist as a political party. He also hinted at further political developments in the state and said ‘the game is yet to begin’. Describing Nitish Kumar as a tired CM, former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav said, “The game has just started, the game is still pending. I do what I say…I can give you in writing that JDU party will end in 2024. The public is with us.”

Tejashwi did not do anything: Nitish
After his swearing-in, Nitish Kumar answered the questions of reporters in Patna.

When Nitish Kumar was asked about Tejashwi’s statement, he said, “We work for the development and progress of Bihar. We will keep doing this. Tejashwi was not doing anything. Now I am back where I was before (in NDA) and now there is no question of going anywhere.”

Nitish Kumar took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for a record ninth time on Sunday. Governor Rajendra Arlekar administered him the oath of office and secrecy at Raj Bhavan in Patna.

Along with Nitish Kumar, BJP leaders Vijay Kumar Sinha, Samrat Chaudhary and Prem Kumar also took oath as ministers.

Along with JDU leaders Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Vijendra Yadav and Shravan Kumar, former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi-led Hindustan Awam Morcha’s Santosh Kumar Suman and independent MLA Sumit Singh also took oath as ministers.

Nitish also targeted India
Nitish Kumar had resigned from the post of Chief Minister earlier in the day saying that things were not going well for him in the ruling grand alliance in Bihar and the opposition ‘India’ alliance.

Along with this, he had also staked claim to form a new government with the help of BJP. About one and a half years ago he broke ties with BJP.

Grand alliance boycotted
BJP national president J. P. Nadda and other senior party leaders also attended the swearing-in ceremony. Kumar’s former ally Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) boycotted the swearing-in ceremony, while another former ally Congress also remained absent.

Nitish became CM for the first time in 2000
The JDU supremo took oath as the chief minister of the state for the first time in 2000, but her government fell within a week.

He resigned from the post of Chief Minister in May 2014, but returned as Chief Minister in November 2015 after removing Jitan Ram Manjhi just eight months later.

At that time, the JD(U), RJD and Congress alliance had won the assembly elections. He resigned in 2017 to form a new government with the BJP.

He again became the Chief Minister in the 2020 assembly elections. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) had won this election, while the JDU had performed poorly.
