Abuja. In Nigeria, a fuel tanker crashed midway, after which a crowd of people gathered to steal oil from it. People started taking out oil from the tanker in large numbers, then there was a big explosion in the oil tanker. 94 people died in the blast. This incident took place in Jigawa state of Northern Nigeria. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
It is being told that this accident happened due to overturning of petrol tanker. More than 90 people died and 50 others were injured in the explosion. The incident occurred when dozens of people ran towards the vehicle to get fuel. Police said residents were removing fuel from an overturned tanker when the explosion occurred. After the explosion, a massive fire broke out in the tanker and 94 people died on the spot.
