Srinagar. Terrorists attacked a vehicle of 18 Rashtriya Rifles near the LoC in Nagin area of Gulmarg in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. Three soldiers were martyred and a porter died in the firing by terrorists. 7 army soldiers were also injured in the attack. All the injured were admitted to 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar, out of which 3 soldiers died.
According to army sources, more than 3 terrorists may be involved in this attack. At the same time, security forces have surrounded the area and started searching for the terrorists. Earlier this morning, terrorists had opened fire on another laborer in Batgund of Pulwama district of South Kashmir, in which he was injured. Injured Shubham Kumar is a resident of UP. His treatment continues in the hospital. This is the third attack on non-Kashmiris in Jammu and Kashmir in the last one week. Earlier, on October 20, terrorists had carried out target killing in Ganderbal and on October 18 in Shopian, in which 7 people were killed. In view of the continuous terrorist attacks, a high level meeting was also held at Raj Bhavan today. The Resistance Front, an organization of Lashkar-e-Taiba, has taken responsibility for the attack. This organization is targeting non-Kashmiris and Sikhs.
