While fleeing from there, the terrorists opened fire on the army ambulance. Jammu SSP said that it is believed that three terrorists were seen near Asan Temple in Akhnoor in Jammu district. They fired a few rounds at the army ambulance. The area has been cordoned off and police and security forces have started a joint search operation. Three terrorists were seen at Shiv Asan Temple located in Batal village of Palanwala sector on LOC at around 7.15 am. He was in army uniform. All three were armed.

The terrorists took hostage three students who had come to the temple for tuition. But after some time he was released. Master Manoj Kumar, who runs the tuition center, also saw the three terrorists. He told that he was at the gate of the temple. I saw the terrorists and I went back. The situation remains tense in a sensitive area of ​​Jammu and Kashmir, where incidents of firing are taking place. According to the information, there is an army unit base just five hundred meters away from the firing site.
