The atmosphere once again deteriorated in Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Today terrorists shot dead a migrant labourer.

Another was injured in this attack. Jammu and Kashmir Police has given information in the case that the deceased person Amritpal Singh was a resident of Amritsar, Punjab.

Information about the injured in the attack is not yet available. Sources said that Amritpal Singh used to work as a hawker in Srinagar.

Jammu and Kashmir Police said in the case that the incident took place in Shaheed Gunj, Srinagar. After the incident, police and army have cordoned off the area and the attackers are being searched.

The injured in the attack has been taken to the hospital. He is being treated.

Earlier, in the month of October last year, terrorists had shot dead a migrant laborer from UP in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir.

This was the second terrorist attack in the region within just 24 hours because before that, Inspector Masroor Ahmed Wani of Jammu and Kashmir Police was shot three times while playing cricket in Idgah area.
