An attacker suddenly entered the room of an Air India air hostess in a hotel in London.
When the accused started misbehaving with her, she started screaming. When their friends staying in the adjacent room heard the noise, they rushed to the spot.
Seeing the people, the attacker started running away from there. However, he was caught. There were injury marks on the air hostess’s body.
She was hit with a hanger and dragged on the floor. She was immediately admitted to the hospital. The incident happened last week.
An Air India spokesperson said, “We are extremely saddened by such an incident. This hotel is operated by a big international chain.”
He said, every possible help is being given to the crew member. Counselling of the woman has also been done.
At the same time, Air India is also taking legal action in collaboration with the local police. The hotel management has also been asked to ensure that such an incident does not happen again.
The airline said that we give priority to the safety of the crew members. This incident took place at the Radisson Hotel in London. At night, the Air India crew members were sleeping in their rooms in the hotel when at around 1.30 am a man entered the air hostess’ room.
The woman woke up and started screaming. She was attacked with a clothes hanger and dragged on the floor. The air hostess started banging on the door.
The police also reached the spot immediately after the incident. She was badly injured. The victim was immediately sent to the hospital. The air hostess along with her colleagues were kept back for care.
Police say that the incident is being investigated. It seems that the attacker is a beggar roaming around.
