Raipur: Budget that fulfills Modi ji’s guarantee – Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma

Today is a very historic day for the people of Chhattisgarh. To fulfill Modi’s guarantee, this budget announced today by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai government is not just an account of income and expenditure but this budget is the budget for the progress of Chhattisgarh.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that in the budget presented by our government, there is no provision of any new tax on the public, it is truly a miracle that the size of the budget has increased without increasing any tax rate in today’s budget.

The size of the budget has been increased by our government by stopping leakages and using technology. This is a very good budget for our state.

Keeping every section in mind, touching every dimension and especially fulfilling the guarantees of Modi ji, this is the budget.

Budget is not a budget for accounting of rupees, it is the foundation stone of the future. Our government aims to keep the GSDP at Rs 10 lakh crore by the year 2028.

This budget is the cornerstone of the progress of Chhattisgarh. I thank Honorable Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and the entire team of our government for this.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that in this budget, Vishnu Dev Sai government of the state will do many important works in the field of Home and Jail, Panchayat and Rural Development, Technical Education and Employment, Science and Technology in the coming year, the people of the state will benefit from it.

In this budget, Rs 8,369 crore for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin, Rs 2,788 crore for Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, Rs 561 crore for National Rural Livelihood Mission, Rs 500 crore grant for electricity payment in Gram Panchayat, Rs 94 crore for Chief Minister Gram Sadak Yojana. Provision has been made for Rs. 50 crore for Mukhyamantri Gram Gaurav Path Yojana, Rs. 400 crore for Swachh Bharat Mission, Rs. 300 crore for PM Jan-Man Yojana.

Congratulating Finance Minister OP Choudhary, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that today in the Chhattisgarh Assembly, the budget for the foundation of Amrit Kaal of Chhattisgarh of Rs 1 lakh 47 thousand 500 crore for the financial year 2024-25 was presented.

This budget focuses on encouraging infrastructure development by increasing the prosperity and capital expenditure of GYAN i.e. poor, youth, farmers and women and increasing employment and livelihood of the youth of the state. This budget is an important step towards fulfilling the promises under Modi’s guarantee.
