The Ministry of Tourism, after meeting Sindarem, announced about Rs 300 crore for the new schemes of Film City, Convention Centre, Wellness Resort, Nature City in Raipur under the scheme of Government of India “Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment – Development of Iconic Tourist Destination to Global Scale”. While submitting the proposal, he also gave information about the progress of Swadesh Darshan Yojana and Prasad Yojana, run by the Ministry of Tourism in Chhattisgarh in collaboration with the Government of India.
During this, Acharya also met Suman Billa, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Tourism and discussed about the immense possibilities of tourism in the state and presented the statue of Bhancha Ram.
