Chief Minister attended the felicitation ceremony of Central Gond Mahasabha Dhamdhagarh

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai announced Rs 25 lakh for installing the statue of Birsa Munda and Rs 50 lakh for the additional room in Gondwana Bhawan.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has said that he is feeling extremely proud to be among you all today in the program of Central Gond Mahasabha.

I am a tribal and your own brother and ally. With the cooperation of all of you, I will remain dedicated to serving Chhattisgarh Mahatari with all my heart.

The Chief Minister said these things today while addressing the felicitation and martyrdom day ceremony of Amar Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh organized by the Central Gond Mahasabha Dhamdhagarh at the Kachna Dhurwa Temple complex located in Civil Lines of District Headquarters Durg.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, on the demand of the Central Gondwana Mahasabha, happily announced the immediate approval of Rs 25 lakh for installing the statue of tribal folk hero Birsa Munda and Rs 50 lakh for the construction of an additional room in the Gondwana Bhawan located at Durg. The crowd present expressed their happiness with a loud kartal sound.

The Chief Minister said that the Chhattisgarh government is busy in rapidly fulfilling the guarantees given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Along with the approval of Prime Minister’s residence to more than 18 lakh eligible families of the state included in Modi ji’s guarantees, two years’ outstanding bonus amount of Rs 3716 crore has been paid to the farmers in their accounts.

Our government is also going to start Mahtari Vandan Yojana from March 1. Currently applications are being received from female sisters. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 1,000 per month will be sent directly to the bank accounts of eligible women sisters.

The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is the maternal birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. Chhattisgarh is the state where Lord Shri Ram spent most of his exile period and created his army. The people of the forest tribe were the clan of Lord Shri Ram.

The Chief Minister further said that Lord Shri Ram’s affection for the people of this region and Mata Shabari’s pure love and intimacy towards Lord Shri Ram are the invaluable assets of Chhattisgarh. He said that fulfilling the guarantee of Modi ji, our government has started Shri Ramlala Darshan Scheme.

Ramlala has been consecrated in Ayodhya Dham after 500 years. Our government is taking people at government expense to visit Ramlala.

Referring to another guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister had promised to purchase 21 quintals of paddy per acre from the farmers at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal. We have fulfilled the promise of purchasing 21 quintals of paddy.

We will give the difference in price of paddy to the farmer brothers in lump sum, for this we have also made a provision of Rs 10 thousand crore in the budget. Fulfilling the guarantee of the Prime Minister, our government has now issued an order to give remuneration of Rs 5500 per standard bag to tendu leaf collectors.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai congratulated and congratulated Gondwana Mahasabha for the initiative of installing the statue of freedom fighter and social reformer tribal leader Birsa Munda. Tribal leader Birsa Munda was born in Banga village of Jharkhand.

Birsa Munda fought to free the people from the dictatorship and oppression of the British and protected the rights of the tribal communities. The Chief Minister said that Birsa Munda’s life, his inspiring thoughts and revolutionary works are still serving as guidance for us.

At the function, the officials of Kendriya Gand Mahasabha honored the Chief Minister by crowning him with a bejeweled cow horn and gifting him a bow and arrow. On this occasion, the Chief Minister was also weighed with Motichoor laddus by the tribal Gond community.

In the program, Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel and MLAs Doman Lal Korsewada, Gajendra Yadav and Lalit Chandrakar and President of Central Gand Mahasabha Dhamdhgarh M.D. Thakur and other officials and people of the society were present in large numbers.
