New Delhi . The doors of Baba Badrinath Dham located in Uttarakhand are about to be closed. On Sunday, the doors of Badrinath Dham will be closed for winter. Earlier on Saturday, Goddess Lakshmi was worshiped on the fourth day of Panj Puja as per Vedic tradition. Then a prayer was made to Goddess Lakshmi to sit in the sanctum sanctorum of Badrinath temple. While explaining the process of closing the doors, Dr. Harish Gaur, media in-charge of Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, said that the chief priest of Badrinath, Rawal Amarnath Namboodiri, will take the form of a woman and enshrine Mata Lakshmi in the sanctum sanctorum of Shri Badrinath Temple. Some time before this, the statues of Uddhav and Kuber ji will arrive in the campus.
