Amidst tension between Israel and Iran, Central Asia has reached the brink of war.
In view of the worsening situation, airlines of many countries have suspended their flight services. Air India has also temporarily stopped its service to Tel Aviv.
On Friday, Air India announced that its service to Tel Aviv was being discontinued with immediate effect in view of the deteriorating situation between Iran and Israel.
After the assassination of the head of Hamas in Tehran, Iran has openly challenged Israel to be ready for war. Meanwhile, Israel’s war with Hezbollah and Hamas continues.
In view of the situation, Air France has also suspended the flight between Paris and Beirut till August 11. Apart from this, Delta Airlines has also stopped the flight service from New York to Tel Aviv till August 31.
Algerian Airlines has suspended flights to Lebanon. A German airline has also halted flights to several destinations in Central Asia, including Tel Aviv, Tehran and Beirut, and advised against using Iran-Iraq airspace.
Singapore Airlines has also changed the routes of its flights so that they do not have to use Iranian airspace.
Let us tell you that Iran has accused Israel of getting the Hamas chief killed in its country. Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei has also threatened to attack Israel.
Iran’s ally Russia has also issued a notice to its airlines asking them not to use Israeli airspace at night. This ban has been imposed from August 9 to August 16.
Amid the tension between Iran and Israel, America, Egypt and Qatar have once again started efforts for a ceasefire. The Gaza ceasefire and the release of hostages are to be discussed in the meeting to be held on August 15.
