Ujjain/Indore. On the last Monday of the month of Sawan, the procession of Lord Mahakaleshwar will be taken out with full protocol and pomp. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will also join the procession. The attraction of the procession of Lord Mahakaleshwar taken out so far in the month of Sawan this year has been different. Every procession has been unique in itself. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made unique experiments to increase the grandeur of the procession, due to which the number of devotees coming not only from the state but also from the country and abroad has increased. The main thing about the last procession of the month of Sawan is that CRPF and Army bands will be included in it. The major Hindu festival Rakshabandhan is also on this day. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai is also coming to visit Lord Mahakaleshwar on Monday.
After Dr. Mohan Yadav became the Chief Minister, the grandeur of Lord Mahakaleshwar’s procession has increased further. First, the attractive presentation of the grand police band and then the creation of a world record of simultaneous Damru playing is a unique initiative in itself. To increase the grandeur of the procession, for the first time, through the Tribal Folk Art and Dialect Development Academy Madhya Pradesh Culture Council, the dances of tribal groups from various regions of the state have also become a part of the Saawan Saawari, which has not only increased the grandeur of the procession but also its attraction. Their presentation captivated the devotees. For the first time, moving chariots were also brought out in the procession for easy darshan of Lord Mahakal, on which devotees had darshan through the big screens installed on them.
On the special initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, in the second procession of Shri Mahakaleshwar Bhagwan, 350 police personnel presented melodious tunes of Shiva bhajans like Namah Shivay Om Namah Shivay, Har-Har Shambhu Deva Mahadeva, Mere Ghar Ram Aaye Hai, Deva Ho Deva Ganpati Deva, Om Jai Shiv Omkara, Satyam Shivam Sundaram etc. through the police band. During the worship at Ram Ghat also, the police band gave an enchanting performance. The entire atmosphere and the devotees were filled with Shiva because of the performances of the police band.
The third Monday of Shravan became historic for Ujjain. As per the wish of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, 1500 damru players created a world record by playing damru simultaneously on the Shaktipath of Mahakal Lok. The devotees of Baba Mahakal participated in the procession with joy and enthusiasm and welcomed the damru players. The damru players captivated the hearts of the devotees by giving an attractive and captivating presentation of Lord Shiva’s favorite instrument damru in a rhythmic form together. Lord Shiva was praised with the auspicious sound of damru playing in the procession of Lord Mahakaleshwar.
During the fourth procession of Lord Mahakaleshwar, as desired by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the Vedic students of the three Vedic schools, Maharishi Kanva Ved Vidyalaya, Mahamrityunjay Ved Vidyalaya and Rishi Gurukul, along with the Mahakaleshwar Vedic Training and Research Institute, run by the temple management committee, enthralled the people by reciting Vedic mantras during the procession of Lord Mahakal from the Datta Akhara area.
