Even amid the ongoing tension with Canada, India has alerted it of danger.
India has told Canada that Khalistani terrorist Sandeep Singh Sidhu works in its border police.
He is linked to ISI and is accused of murder of Shaurya Chakra winner Balwinder Singh Sandhu. Balwinder was murdered in Bhikhiwind in Tarn Taran district in October 2020.
Sandhu was awarded the Shaurya Chakra in 1990 for his fight against terrorism. Shaurya Chakra is awarded for courage and self-sacrifice against enemies.
Actually, Balwinder Singh Sandhu was stopping a Canadian border agent from smuggling drugs. The accused was in contact with Lakhbir Singh Road of Khalistan Liberation Front (KLF) terrorist organization of Pakistan. Apart from this, he also had relations with ISI.
According to the report of Times Now, Sandeep Singh Sandhu has been promoted and appointed in Canada Border Service Agency.
This week, the NIA had told the Supreme Court that a Khalistani from Canada was behind the murder of the Shaurya Chakra winner in 2020.
The investigating agency had told the Supreme Court that Sukhmeet Pal Singh alias Sukh Bhikariwal, Sunny Toronto (a KLF terrorist in Canada) and Lakhbir Singh alias Rod (Bhindranwala’s nephew) had asked him to commit the murder.
Let us tell you that relations between India and Canada have deteriorated due to the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had made baseless allegations against India for Nijjar’s murder.
Canada’s opposition also says that it is wrong to make allegations without evidence and Trudeau is doing this to divert the public’s attention from the main issues.
However, Trudeau is not ready to back down from his words. Till now Canada has not been able to provide any concrete evidence to India regarding the murder of Nijjar.
