Thousands of Hindus started fleeing and tried to enter India. Meanwhile, Hindus protested against the government on the streets of Dhaka and gave them an ultimatum.

Within 24 hours, the interim government headed by Nobel laureate Mohammad Yunus came to its knees. Mohammad Yunus has called representatives of Hindu students and organizations for a meeting on Monday.

The interim government says that it will hold talks to ensure the safety of the Hindu community and end the current crisis. According to reports, in the past week alone, 205 incidents of attacks on Hindus have been reported in 52 districts.

In such a situation, minority organizations opened a front against the interim government and started demanding a minority protection law. At the same time, the Hindu students’ organization has prepared a list of eight points which will be presented before Yunus.

In this list, it is said that a fast track tribunal should be formed to hear cases of atrocities against Hindus. Minority protection law should be implemented immediately.

Hindu Religion Welfare Trust should be made a foundation. Pali Education Board should be modernized. Five days holiday should be declared during Shahdiya Durga Puja and Minority Ministry should be formed.

Mohammad Yunus had earlier condemned the attacks on minorities and called it barbaric. He had asked the youth to protect Hindu, Christian and Buddhist families.)
