A person has filed a petition in the Supreme Court claiming that his mind is being controlled by someone else through a machine.
Now as soon as the petition reached the judge, he expressed surprise at it and called it strange.
Also said how can interference be done in this? After this the petition was rejected.
The bench of Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia and Justice Ehsanuddin Amanullah was hearing the petition.
According to the report of Live Law, the court said, ‘A strange prayer has been made on behalf of the petitioner that some machine is being operated on behalf of some other people, through which his mind is being controlled. We do not see any scope or reason to interfere in this matter.
what was the matter
The petitioner had earlier filed a petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court. He had said that some people had obtained human brain reading machinery from CFSL i.e. Central Forensic Scientific Laboratory and it was used on him.
The petitioner had sought directions from the court to deactivate the machine.
After this, CFSL, CBI gave an affidavit in the High Court that no such forensic investigation has been conducted on the petitioner. In such a situation the question of deactivating the machine does not arise.
After this, the High Court rejected the petition in November 2022. After this, the petitioner, a teacher by profession, had filed a special leave petition in the Supreme Court challenging the order.
What did the Supreme Court say
On September 27, 2024, the Supreme Court directed the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee to arrange for a conversation with the petitioner in his mother tongue, so that his problems could be understood.
After talking to the petitioner, SCLSC had filed a report in the court that he wanted to deactivate the mind control machine.
