The price of the world’s largest dinosaur skeleton skyrocketed even before the auction

Paris. Even before the auction of the world’s largest dinosaur skeleton, the price has reached sky high. According to the information, the price has crossed Rs 100 crore. Let us tell you that Vulcan, one of the world’s largest dinosaurs, is going to be auctioned on November 16 in Paris, the capital of France. French auctioneers Collin du Bocage and Barbarossa said that even before the registration for bidding for the dinosaur skeleton, the price has crossed US $ 11 to 22 million (about Rs 92-185 crore). This skeleton was discovered in Wyoming, America in 2018. Its measurement is 20.50 meters, in which 80 percent of the bones belong to a single dinosaur. This huge dinosaur is on display at the Château de Dampierre-en-Yvelines in Paris. More than 40,000 visitors have come to see the exhibition since its opening in July. It will be kept in public exhibition from November 3 to 16.
Vulcan is the largest dinosaur. “This is the most pristine find of a lifetime,” said Colin du Bocage founder and auctioneer Olivier Colin du Bocage. The buyer will be given copyrights to the specimen along with GPS points, excavation plans, as well as the right to officially rename the dinosaur. Vulcan has been studied by renowned paleontology experts. It also includes Christian Foth of the University of Rostock in Germany. They also recently revealed the specimen of a new dinosaur species. According to their analysis, the Vulcan dinosaur’s characteristics match those of both Apatosaurus and Brontosaurus, but its features are more similar to those of Ajax. This strange mix of characteristics suggests it may represent a new species between Apatosaurus ajax and Apatosaurus louise. It is classified as herbivorous based on the substances found in the fossilized soil layer.
