Recently, 50 packets of drugs weighing 1180 grams were caught from the seashores of Navsari in South Gujarat and their value was said to be more than Rs. 30 crores. Now packets of drugs have been recovered in Kutch. According to the information, 2 packets of drugs have been found unclaimed from the Kundibet area of Kutch. These 2 packets of drugs were found during a joint search operation of the Indian Navy and BSF. Both the packets were inside a white bag. Earlier on August 15, 50 packets of drugs were recovered from the coast of Navsari district. One packet of the recovered drugs contained 1180 grams of drugs. 50 such packets were found and the total value of the drugs was estimated to be more than 30 crores. In such a situation, the packets of drugs recovered in an abandoned condition have raised many questions. It is said that this is the first time in the history of Navsari that drugs have been recovered from the seashore in this manner. It was lying in the sea for more than four months and was packed in five layers and remained unclaimed in the sea. A day after this incident, the police started an intensive investigation after two packets of drugs were found on the beach of Kutch. Earlier on August 13, 21 packets of hashish were found in the sea area of Valsad. On August 12, packages of hashish weighing 11,800 kg were found from Udwada beach in Pardi, Valsad. Earlier on August 12, a huge quantity of Afghan hashish was seized from Hazira area of Surat. SOG police had seized two and a half to three kg of Afghan hashish from the beach in Hazira area. Earlier on August 1, SOG had recovered a huge quantity of hashish from the beach of Dhamalej in Gir Somnath district. During patrolling, 9 packets of hashish worth Rs 4 crore were found.
