Foreign officials liked Chhattisgarh very much
A team of 16 officers reached Chhattisgarh under the Under Standing India module.
Officials from friendly countries from America, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh and Nepal are also included.
The study group of officers who had come to Chhattisgarh from the National Defense College, met Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today at his residence office in Pahuna.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai welcomed all the officials who reached Chhattisgarh in the state. Officials of the study team told the Chief Minister that a team of 120 officers is visiting 8-8 different states under the 6-week Under Standing India module included in the one-year course in the college.
In this sequence, a team of 16 officers has reached Chhattisgarh, which will study the development works and activities taking place in the state including various aspects of internal security in the state. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao was also present on this occasion.
While discussing with the officials of the study team, Chief Minister Sai shared important information about the geographical location of Chhattisgarh, socio-cultural characteristics and special reference to tribal dominated areas.
He discussed with the study team on issues related to education, health, tourism, industry, women empowerment as well as development in the state.
The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is a very beautiful state. There are abundant reserves of mineral resources and forest resources here. Chhattisgarh, rich in natural beauty, has immense tourism potential. We are working with determination to recognize the specialties of Chhattisgarh on the world stage.

Chief Minister Sai said that due to continuous action of security forces and better implementation of development works and public welfare schemes in the interior areas, the scope of Maoist terrorism has been limited. We have intensified our fight against Maoist terrorism.
He said that Tribal Development Authorities have been formed to speed up development in tribal dominated areas in Chhattisgarh. The Tribal Ministry was created under the leadership of former Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, which is proving to be a milestone in the development of tribal dominated areas.
Moving forward on this path, we have prepared an action plan for the inclusion of these areas, which will also be implemented soon.
Chief Minister Sai said that there is no dearth of budget for the development of tribals in Chhattisgarh. The expansion of roads is also to be promoted, which will make transportation easier.
The Chief Minister said that a large number of women self-help groups are working in Chhattisgarh. At the Panchayat level, a group of 10 to 12 women are involved in various livelihood related activities.
Due to which their financial condition has improved. Chief Minister Sai said that we have started Mahtari Vandan Yojana in the state for the economic upliftment of women from lower-middle class families.
During this, Chief Minister Sai especially mentioned the work being done by Dantewada’s Javanga Education City and Ram Krishna Mission for the upliftment of tribal youth. On which the officials told that they will visit these areas.
On the meaningful discussion held with the Chief Minister, the officials said that his visit to Chhattisgarh will prove to be very beneficial in knowing and understanding India. He will take with him new experiences from Chhattisgarh, which will prove useful in his work field also.
The beauty of Chhattisgarh is appreciated by the foreign group that came out to know India.
During discussion with Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Major General Samantha Nagar, in-charge of the study team, said that Chhattisgarh is more beautiful than we had thought.
He told that the fellow officials of the five friendly countries included in the study team – America, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh and Nepal liked the natural beauty of Chhattisgarh very much. He told that fellow officers are very curious and happy about this beautiful trip to Chhattisgarh.

Singh was involved.
