Kalia said in a video posted on social media, “I condemn Kangana Ranaut’s comments on the 155th birth anniversary of Gandhiji. Only last month, Kangana Ranaut faced criticism for advocating the return of three agricultural laws that were repealed in 2021.
Kangana alleged that the farmers’ movement against the three agricultural laws is creating a Bangladesh-like situation in India.
He claimed that dead bodies were hanging and rapes were taking place at the protest sites. Kangana Ranaut later withdrew her statement and admitted that she should remember that she is not only an artiste but also a member of the BJP.
