Identification parade of the accused will be conducted in the Badlapur sexual harassment case.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) made this announcement on Tuesday. It was told that this parade will be held in the presence of an executive magistrate, where the victims will identify the accused.
According to the report, once identified, the SIT will prepare the psychological profile of the accused, which will help in further investigation of the case.
Earlier, Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar had said that the CCTV footage of the last 15 days of the school is missing. He said, ‘It is necessary to investigate why the footage has disappeared and what is the motive behind it.’
A court in Thane district sent a man arrested for sexually assaulting two girls at a school in Badlapur town to 14-day judicial custody.
The accused, who was working as an assistant in a private school, was produced before a magistrate court in Kalyan on Monday after his police custody period expired.
The police officer said that some members of the school management have been made accused in the case. It is known that the accused was employed as an assistant in the school, where the incident took place earlier this month. He was arrested on August 17.

According to a police complaint, he had sexually abused two girls in the school toilet. Last week, angry parents of school children and locals blocked the railway tracks at Badlapur station for 10 hours.
They also vandalized a school building.
Following the protests, the Maharashtra government formed an SIT led by senior IPS officer Arti Singh to investigate the incident.
25 policemen were injured in incidents of stone pelting at the railway station and other parts of Badlapur during the protest.
