In its latest report, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of dense fog for the next few days. According to the weather report, from the morning of 24th to the morning of 28th, there may be dense fog in some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh.

There is a possibility of dense fog in different areas of Madhya Pradesh during morning hours on 24-26th and in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura on 24-25th.

Cold wave outbreak in North India

According to the weather office, there is a possibility of snowfall and rain in some higher and lower reaches of the hills in Himachal Pradesh on Friday and Saturday.

On Sunday, there may be rain and snowfall in isolated areas across the state.

The minimum temperature in Shimla on Tuesday was 2.4 degrees Celsius. Winter capital Dharamshala recorded a minimum temperature of 4.4 degrees Celsius. The night temperature in Manali was minus 0.7 degrees Celsius, while Kufri recorded 0.1 degrees and Mandi 0.2 degrees as the minimum temperature.

No relief from cold wave in Punjab, Haryana
There is no sign of abatement in the ongoing cold wave outbreak in Haryana and Punjab. The minimum temperature was recorded below normal at many places on Tuesday.

According to the Meteorological Department, Karnal was the coldest place in Haryana with a minimum temperature of 2.8 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was recorded at 4.6 degrees in Fatehabad, 4.6 degrees in Ambala and 4.8 degrees Celsius in Bhiwani.

Chandigarh also recorded a minimum temperature of six degrees Celsius. According to the weather office, the night temperature in Patiala, Punjab was recorded at 3.6 degrees Celsius and it was the coldest place in the state.

Severe cold expected in Rajasthan for next three days
The harsh winter continues in Rajasthan. Cold wave was recorded in many areas in the last 24 hours. many The place was covered with dense fog.

The minimum temperature recorded in Alwar was 2.5 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, the cold wave is expected to continue.

According to this, in the last 24 hours, very dense fog, extremely cold days and cold wave were recorded at some places in the Shekhawati region in the northern, western and eastern parts of the state. During this period, the minimum temperature was recorded at 2.5 degrees Celsius in Alwar and 4.2 degrees Celsius in Churu.

According to the weather centre, dense fog, cold days at some places in the western and northern parts of the state and cold wave in Shekhawati region are likely to continue for the next three days.
