Rain has started wreaking havoc in Pakistan as well. Three people died when the roof of a house collapsed due to heavy rain in Kot-Murtaza area of Tank district of Dera Ismail Khan. Four others are injured. A woman and her two children died in the accident. Meanwhile, the National Disaster Management Authority has issued a warning of possible floods in many districts of Balochistan and southern Punjab.

The deceased were identified as Asma Bibi wife of Rehman, her daughter Sadiya Bibi and son Waheed Ullah. The injured included Rehman and his three sons Naseeb Ullah, Irfan and Asmat Ullah.
Waziristan road closed
Let us tell you that there is heavy rain in Pakistan’s Tank district. Due to flood-like situation in rivers and drains, the Tank-South Waziristan road has also been closed for traffic. A flood warning has also been issued.
Heavy rain warning in Karachi
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain warning for Karachi from August 4 to 7. Most parts of Karachi may receive rainfall between 40 and 60 mm. People in southern Punjab’s Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur districts have been advised to prepare for heavy flooding. Moderate to high level flooding is expected in Balochistan’s Zhob, Sibi, Nasirabad and Kalat districts.
Alert in areas adjacent to Kabul river
Flood warning has been issued in Larkana, Dadu, Jamshoro and Hyderabad districts of Sindh. Areas adjoining the Kabul river are at risk of flooding. Many villages in Koh-e-Sulaiman have been cut off due to rain. Water has entered more than 100 houses in Rojhan. Deputy Commissioner of Rajanpur said that more than 200 people have been shifted to safer areas.
