A strange incident has come to light in Haveri district of Karnataka.

Here, to revive two innocent children who drowned in the lake, their family members buried their bodies in 20 kg salt bags.

The family members kept the dead bodies in salt bags for hours in the hope that the children were alive. What happened next was what no one expected.

According to the information received, the incident is being reported from Ghalapuji village of Haveri district of Karnataka. 11 year old Nagraj and 12 year old Hemant had gone to swim in the lake but both of them drowned.

The family members were in distress and crying due to the death of their innocent children. Meanwhile, Hemant’s father Maltesh came to know through social media that even dead bodies can become alive by burying bodies in salt sacks.

It is said that influenced by the social media post, Nagraj’s father Maruti, Hemant’s father Maltesh and some other villagers buried the dead bodies in 200 kg sacks of salt.

However, he was disappointed when nothing happened even after six hours. On the other hand, police officials say that ultimately the parents of both the children have been assured that they were misled through social media. After which he cremated the dead bodies.

Householders are raising questions on the good quality of salt
According to Ramanna, a relative of Hemanth, the thinking was that since both the children were already dead, there was nothing to lose if they tried to revive them because “200 kg of salt costs less”.

However, he has raised questions on the good quality of salt. It is said that this could not happen if the salt was not of good quality.
